First off I would like to apologize to everyone about my lack of work that I have forked out to let everyone see.  I have been going through a lot of work and I am definitely in for a good vacation in the coming week.  I have been logging on and collecting like crazy.  There has been so many good art pieces uploaded to DA lately and I think it is great to see such potential and quite frankly mouth dropping pieces of art that I have seen the last few months or so. What's New So my newest projects that I have been working on are the studies of well known artists.  My first one that I worked on was good old Dr. Seuss for my son.  After reading the books and exploring his artwork, I felt I was ready to try out telling his stories with two paintings I did for my son. :thumb80750671: :thumb81436337: Both of them turned out very well I thought considering I haven't painted in a couple of years.  Both I used a heavy acrylic creating lots of brush strokes and a thin sharpie to create the detail of the characters.  :sun:Aahh! The old Dr. Seuss. :sun: Many love the stories and read them when they were younger and now read them to their kids.  Everyone loves the wacky stories and the good morals that they teach.
